A Case of Madness
...or the Curious Appearance of Holmes in the Nighttime.
Andrew Thomas, a middle-aged man and Sherlock Holmes scholar hits rock bottom when he lost his job at the University of London. On top of that, he’s world-weary, awaiting a cancer diagnosis and evidently losing his mind when no other than Holmes materializes in his flat and declares that Andrew is in love. The great detective and persistent hallucination presents Andrew with a case involving a handsome stranger named Matt who shows Andrew that life might be worth living after all – and a madcap race through London that might change Andrew’s life forever begins.
This unusual LGBTQ+ love story shows the meaning of friendship, explores mental illness, and celebrates the rich history of Holmes and London.
